Who We Are

What is tnREC?
tnREC, a division of Qsource is the authorized Regional Extension Center (REC) for Tennessee charged with helping physician practices, hospitals and other healthcare service providers integrate health information technology (HIT) and implement electronic health records (EHRs).

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) established a regional extension center (REC) program to provide robust local technical assistance in implementing electronic health records (EHRs), improving healthcare quality and achieving meaningful use of health information technology (HIT).

Through a network of trained HIT implementation specialists within local communities, tnREC and our partners will attempt to reach communities most in need of HIT adoption support.

We provide technical assistance and guidance to support and accelerate provider efforts to become meaningful users of EHRs.
