tnREC is vendor neutral. It is the policy of tnREC that associates maintain a position of vendor neutrality. tnREC does not have a list of preferred vendors. We apply results from our Practice Readiness Assessment in suggesting appropriate certified vendors and products to fulfill the practice’s needs.
tnREC presents its clients with multiple vendor/product options for consideration by the practice during the vendor selection phase.
An ONC-Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) certified vendor products under its Temporary Certification Program (TCP). Effective Oct. 4, 2012 the TCP was replaced by the ONC HIT Certification Program. The ONC will continue to serve as a transparent and objective certification program for EHRs and other types of HIT. Practices are also welcome to add other certified products they wish to consider in this process.
